Learn moreTerminology overview brief and concise
The valve requires the pressure energy of the medium to open or close. The medium pressure or the existing pressure difference lifts the sealing element.
This type of actuation allows the use of solenoids with relatively low force at large volume flows and relatively high pressures.
The high-quality plastic valves from RSG can be used wherever conventional metal valves are not sufficiently resistant. A media separation ensures the realization of the media resistance. In this process, the metallic armature is separated from the medium by a PTFE bellows or a separating diaphragm. RSG plastic valves are suitable for liquid, gaseous, neutral and especially aggressive media. Depending on the requirements, PVC, PP, PVDF or PTFE are used as body materials. The most common sealing or diaphragm materials are EPDM, FKM and PTFE.
