The manufacturing of industrial gases of extreme purity is an energy- and cost-intensive process. In many cases, stringent measures must be taken to make sure they cannot escape into the environment.

In the project described here, the task was to install RSG valve technology in monitoring systems for greenhouse gases. An essential requirement was perfect sealing of the solenoid valve, both inside and against the environment. The customer required a guaranteed leakage rate of 10-8 mbar l/s and that piping costs and complexity be kept at a minimum.

We were able to provide the basis for an ideal product solution with our 210-series valves. A compact and efficient valve block was realised by logical aggregation of the components and the integration of a pressure transducer. We were also able to achieve consistently high quality in the manufacturing process by employing relevant testing procedures and processes.
